Hey, I thought we were done with summer here! I guess it's not really summer temperatures, but it certainly doesn't feel like October, when we should be wearing sweaters and running around with steaming pumpkin spice lattes. Ok, it's just the first week. Ooooooooook. That said, Taproom has seasonal beers on tap, more for a certain central European festival than an American branded one. But there's nothing wrong with a nice festbier or a märzen or even a regular old pilsner. Hell, there's nothing wrong with a non-alcoholic beverage, despite appearances, since the object is to have a conversation, not a hangover. There are a couple of events coming up that might inspire talk: Halloween and scary family movies; pre-code movies and morality; nationality and belonging (hello, jet flyovers). I'm sure you can think of some more. See you at Taproom!
