Hey there, I'd like to invite you to an inspiring movie hangout and after-dinner potluck at my place for the film: I Am Greta. This documentary follows Greta Thunberg, a teenage climate activist from Sweden, on her international crusade to get people to listen to scientists about the world's environmental problems. I hope you can join us! :) --------------- This hangout is part of a new, ongoing series of activities (initiated by my partner Glen and myself) with the goal to strengthen and grow our community of friends in Vancouver. These activities include movie nights, games hangouts, picnics, etc.

I'm setting a date of Saturday the 20th with the 27th also available if one or more of you can't make the 20th. This is a GREAT doc which I could watch again and again, but no spoilers here. I live downtown at Robson and Burrard. Let me know if you can make it!

Sounds great Laara. Now that the date is set, I'd like to recommend that you create a separate hangout to keep track of further comments related to this new hangout. Just select the option to create a hangout on the home page and follow the instructions. I'd recommend that you create a public hangout where others in the Buddytree community can request to attend. You'll more likely to get a larger turnout of 5-7 people that way. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have any questions. :)

If you want to create a private hangout with only specific people, then you just need to add these people to your buddytree first. You should have received an email after the hangout with an option to do so. But you can also just select people's profiles and then click the big blue button "Add to your buddytree". Hope that helps.
