You better like metros, they're the best! Ok, some are less useful than others, but Metro de Madrid is supremely useful, and full of weirdnesses. You might expect a certain number of ghost stories or tales of mismanagement, but the details are always shocking and surprising. This is also a slideshow and storytime, and I defy you to make another metro look better than this one! You can eat and drink on the metro (although it's a little rude), but no smoking! There are good reasons for this that you will hear about. The bus might be more scenic, but the metro is an experience you can't miss!
