Boy oh boy, does AI make some strange images based on very normal words. Fotor doesn't seem to like to depict any kind of direct violence, so maybe that's where the surrealism comes from. Let's talk about punching nazis. A few years ago, a passer-by punched neo-Nazi Richard Spencer while he was giving a street interview. Many decried the violence. "That makes us the same as them," it was said. But does it? And even if it brings us closer, isn't violence sometimes necessary for progress? We are in a time of changes that people thought would never be allowed. Resistance was stifled in the beginning, because it was the beginning and not much was happening. Even now, there is little will to resist or defend. Perhaps because of the name-calling, people tend to look at European resistance to Nazi occupation and domination, and some of that was thanks to young people doing things that we think young people should never have to do. Here's one example: https://freethoughtblogs.com/pharyngula/2025/05/25/stop-punching-nazis/#comments When is enough enough for you? When will you stand up and fight? When will you sneak up on your enemies and subdue them? We are in interesting times, unfortunately.
